Demi Dang, M.D.
Dr. Demi Dang is a board-certified cornea and refractive specialist. Initially in private practice in Hawaii, Dr. Dang was one of the first ophthalmologists to perform Conductive Keratoplasty in Hawaii.
In 2005, she returned to Virginia to practice with a multi-specialty ophthalmology group in Fredericksburg.
Dr. Dang completed a Cornea and Refractive Surgery fellowship at the Medical College of Virginia. She completed her Internal Medicine internship at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC,and her Ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.
Her research and numerous publications have centered on the treatment of fungal keratitis. In 2002, Dr. Dang was awarded the Mary Bass Boekner Scholar Award for Excellence in Research.
She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. Presently, Dr. Dang has joined the medical staff of Mary Washington Eye Care Center.
